Create categories as a menu items in blogger

What is Menu Items ?

Menu Items are the list items in which are specifically dividing into number of sub-items or categories. These categories are commonly used in the eCommerce websites. Example: An ECommerce website selling Apparel Products and in apparels it is further categoried into Mens | Women | Childrens and it is further categorised into Shirts | Pants | Shorts and it can be further categorised into different sizez ect, and so on. These can be called as Categories.

What is categories and their importance

Categories are Important because it alligns the information specific category.

Follow these steps to add the catagories in your blogger

1. Select you blogger website.
2. Create a blogpost and In the right side menu, add the "Label" and name it as "SEO" (give any name but, it should not contain any spaces within the words) and click Publish.




3. In the "Layout" section, add "Add a Gadget".



4. Select "Labels".



5. Enter the Title (Title name should be same as entered in the blogpost "Label") and Turn "ON" the Toggle button and save it.



6. Now, view your blog in the new window.



7. In the sidebar, click on "SEO" and copy the "URL".



8. Get back to your blogger dashboard and click on "Layout" section and Find the Header menu and create a "Menu".



9. Add New Item and Turn "ON" the Toggle button.



10. Enter the "Label name" (SEO) which you entered while creating the post. and paste the URL (which you have copied earlier in the above few step) and save it.
